The highest yet! In fact, of the 100 web siotes that were gracious to stop promoting tom, and even Focus On The Family, who truly launched Tomn's Fraud, never sold the tapes this high!

Hi, Rock:

Yesterday evening, I saw the broadcast of this show (Mr. Papania's testimony)
about halfway through.  At first I was intrigued because it seemed he was
talking candidly about organized crime.  As I'm a mystery writer, I thought,
"hey, easy research."  I became even more interested when I found that he had
left the mafia and given his life to Christ.  Rather than research, I thought
I had found a compelling testimony to add to my "arsenal" of teaching
resources to share with my two children.  I could hardly wait until the
broadcast ended so I could get the man's name and/or ordering information for
the video.  After the broadcast, Tom Papania's full name was not mentioned,
but Cross TV advertised the program as being one of their "Word Pictures"
which could be ordered from their site or by telephoning them.  I didn't know
the name of the show and couldn't find anything relating to "God's Saving
Grace Ministries" on the Cross TV site.  When I called Cross TV, I was told
that the title of the video I had seen was called "From Mobster to Minister"
and it was $29.95 plus 3.95 S/H.  Though that's not pocket change to me, I
ordered the video thinking how priceless it could be.  When I hung up, I also
had the name "Tom Papania" so I looked it up via a search engine to see if he
had other resources available (books or audiobooks).  What I found was your
page.  I couldn't believe I'd been so misled--which is why I wanted to see
the videotaped confession.  In fact, I'm still angry.  I feel that the devil
really pulled one over on me, and I'm sickened that people exercise deceit in
the "name of Christ."  After seeing your site, I immediately called Cross TV
and requested that the order be canceled.  

That's all I know.  You can either call Cross TV or visit their website and
look up the listing for yourself.  In fact, I told the person with whom I
spoke the reason that I was canceling the order; and I asked, "Is this guy a
fraud?"  He said he could only judge the fruits of his ministry because he
didn't know Tom personally.  He asked me if the site [yours] gave me a number
where I could call him [TP], and I said it did.  In fact, I called the number
and got a recording.  I planned to ask him to justify his actions.  After
all, if he lies about one thing, how can you believe anything he says, right?
 If he'd vehemently denied the allegations, it would have given him an
opportunity to make his voice heard.  Again, I was angry.  Interestingly
enough, in the recording I was told that "audio tapes [of TP's testimony] are
$10 and video tapes are $20 including shipping and handling."  This opposed
to Cross TV's $29.95 + 3.95 S/H.

Again, that's all I know.

The Author's Letter to CrossTV sent BEFORE a long telephone conversation and agreement!

To whom it may concern:

1) It has come to our attention that Cross Tv is selling a video tape by one Thomas Papanier, better known as Tom Papania.

2) I am informing you that by selling this video tape and/or audio tapes, you are violating the copyright act and Lanham act.

3) I am also advising you that you are furthering an outright fraud upon both the public and the Christian community, profiting from a story that is not only false, but contains copyright material from House Of Cards, a copyright and published book that was read and then dissected by Thomas Papanier to further his fraud upon the Christian Community.

4) Currently we have a federal suit in the Northern District of Georgia and await but the trial date. This law suit once enjoined Pat Robertson, CBN, Focus On The Family and James Dobson. We have settled with these ministries and individuals, but currently have Thomas Papanier (aka: Tom Papania) as an active participant.

5) I am requesting that you remove this offer immediately, and, if you do not, we will add your organization and website and any individual we find that is participating in this out right theft of our materials and the furthering of this fraud.

Did it occur to you something might be wrong when you discovered you were only a hand ful that did not halt their sale and promotion?? Over 100 web sites took down their pages.. wonder why??
